Heating Solutions For Your Bathroom
In the bathroom we can consider a range of heating solutions, these can range from underfloor heating to simply choosing the correct shape, colour and style of radiator or heated towel rail.
One of the most luxurious things you can do to make your bathroom toasty is to invest in underfloor heating. This is always less expensive than our clients think and definitely worth the investment as an extremely efficient way to warm your bathroom.
Underfloor Heating
Heat is emitted gently and evenly across the floor so there are no cold spots and it frees up a wall that would otherwise need to be dedicated to a radiator, which can save space. The underfloor heating is thermostatically controlled via a discreet programmer we position outside of the bathroom to meet UK regulations.
The underfloor heating system will turn itself off when the room gets to temperature and even has a holiday setting so you can set this to turn itself on and off in line with your lifestyle.
Radiators and Towel Rails
In the bathroom, we may focus on the radiator being a heating solution that either blends into the room or stands out. We now regularly work with coloured heated towel rails as opposed to chrome as these provide a much higher heat output and are available in a wide range of styles and finishes.
The Svelte towel radiator from Bisque can make any bathroom look luxurious. Made from recycled aluminium; it uses 90% less water than a standard ladder rail and responds quickly to temperature adjustments.
Design and Function
Alternatively, we sometimes focus on both design and function and this can be found by products from Zehnder such as the Zehnder Yucca Asymmetrical radiator. The Yucca has horizontal tubes that can be positioned left or right so that large towels can be conveniently pulled towards you from one side which can be specified to complement your bathroom design. This product is also available in a wide range of colours and sizes.
